From a 2x to a 2 in 2 years 100 pounds lost

I finally put together my victory video for youTube. I did it. I am 100 pounds thinner and tons happier.
Since I do calorie restriction once I am at the so called normal weight I need to lose 10% for optimal health. Calorie restriction is part of my life so I know I can do it. I will continue eating the same foods and same calories everyday just like I have been doing for 2 years. Life continues.
I lost 10 pounds this year so I expect to be at optimal weight in another 8 months. That is perfect. Slow and very steady.

Awesome! Amazing job! You must feel great about yourself. Do you have any tips on how you lost your last 10 pounds?

Allison,
My last 10 pounds look 8 months. How I did it was never go off plan. I did reduce my calories another 10% in the past 2 months. I am keeping them there for another 2 months to lose my final 10% for optimal health.
I follow CRON, raw food, and Paleo. It is a lifetime commitment.

Angie,
I average 1000 to 1500 calories a day. Never over 1500.
Some days I am not as hungry as others so I celebrate that by not eating as much.
Most important is to make sure my calories have the high nutrition my body needs to stay healthy.

Congratulations on your victory, I saw your video clip and you look marvelous. I too eat a low-calorie, nutrient-dense diet and my BMI is normal. However, I am struggling to lose a few pounds as I am quite short and therefore prefer to be on the lean side. It seems the less one has to lose, the harder it is. Don't you find it time-consuming, though, to monitor everything you eat? Do you learn to guess after a while?

Lindy,
I don't use the cronOmeter everyday because I find I eat pretty much the same things over and over. I think I use it a few times a week to be sure I am doing it right.
It sure is harder to lose weight the closer we get to goal. I still have the final 10% to lose. It comes off about a pound every 10 days or so. I am in no hurry.

Wow Marjie, you are a modern day hero and such an inspiration, I can;t stop smiling at this news.

Now I have a question. How do you determine the weight you get to as normal before you add the last 10%. I want to do it too (I'm not near it yet)but don't know how to figure it out for myself.

Thanks and all my best wishes, I am so happy for you.
