Finally weighed in

I did it, I remembered to weigh before tea.
To my surprise I weigh exactly the same as I did the last time I weighed, right down to the ounce. 135.2. I now know I am eating what my body needs to maintain its weight.
March 1 I will be back to Calorie Restriction. For me that will be reducing my daily calorie intake by 400 calories.
You say that is nothing do ya? My maintain calories, which go by AGE, height, weight, sex, and activity level are 1445. So by reducing them by 400 is 30%. I can do that most of the time. I do have a few days I go up to maybe 1300.
The important part is for me to use the cronOmeter.
Slack time is over.
Well it will be March 1 anyway.

Wow, 30% CR? You are my hero, lol! Have you gotten to the gym lately? I remember you were going for a while there...

DawnRose,
Yes I exercise or try to 3x's a week for 30 minutes.
I don't want to burn my calories that my body needs working out.
Cutting calories and exercising don't mix to well for me.
Donna, I need to make more videos since I enjoy it. I have tons of ideas floating around, maybe to many and that is the reason I can't get just one made.
Hey, I miss your videos.

While surfing the internet I found your blog. As a 53 year woman who has tried many things to lose weight, I am inspired. I have been eating what I thought was a good diet....cottage cheese with apple for lunch is one example. After reading your blog, perhpas mine is a diet that is too high in carbs. I know you try to eat high protein...did I see you limt your carbs to about 84 g per day? It seems you documented everything you ate to see the results. Did you eat a certain way for a certain period of time and then see how it affected you? Now that I've read through your blog, I can't wait to view your You Tube entries. Glad you had this great journey. Congratulations and Thanks.

The first thing I did was find out how many calories my body needs to maintain it's healthy weight. I then reduced that by 20% or so. I also don't eat anything processed, which eliminates unhealthy carbs and sugars. I didn't track carbs for some time but now try to keep them lower. I get my carbs mostly from fruit.
I used to eat 1/2 cup cottage cheese for lunch too. I don't anymore.
My lunch is either left over meat or an apple.
Good luck to you and please keep in touch.
I do mention how I keep track of my calories in my videos if you have any questions, let me know..

Thinking of you today! Hope you're not too hungry as you re-adjust. I really have enjoyed your videos and look forward to future ones. I am counting calories, also, and have lost 35 pounds so far.

Best of luck, best of health, and give my best to the Greek and the kitties! :-D
